We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our thriving team in Brisbane. The successful applicant will be responsible for securing first class and award winning projects.

This role requires an individual who is highly motivated with a keen eye for detail and the ability to 'look outside the box'. Your passion for construction and estimating processes will show through with the quality and accuracy of your work. You'll have sound technical knowledge and be able to adapt to the varied projects in our portfolio.

Advantageous to this role is 3 to 8 years of experience in the local market tendering education, health and a variety of commercial projects valued $20m to $100M.

Requirements of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Understanding estimating processes and systems including building practices, methodology and legislation
• Experience in reviewing trade quotes and the ability to seek clarification as necessary
• Involvement with post tender negotiations and reviewing tender performances
• Established relationships with subcontractors, clients and consultants
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
• Ability to understand and price risk and make recommendations in regards to contract cost and profitability
• Ability to review and understand contract terms and conditions
• Experience using, or the ability to operate programs such as Cost X, Estimate one and MS Project
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in completion of tender deliverables

A tertiary qualification in Construction Management / Quantity Surveying or similar is required.
