We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Service Technician to join our Perth team, based in Wangara. This role is ideal for a qualified Fitter Turner or Mechanical Electrician who is looking to grow with us during an exciting period of expansion and innovation.
You will be joining a supportive team in a company renowned for delivering exceptional products and service. Full training, mentoring, and ongoing support will be provided.
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Department, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and support of Farnese Masterwood machinery. Your responsibilities will include:
Preventive and scheduled maintenance
Machinery installations
Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns
You will be working across a range of equipment, including CNCs, Edgebanders, Panel Saws, and Beam Saws. This is a full-time, hands-on role with scope for variety and technical development.
Essential Criteria
Proven experience in machinery preventive maintenance
Strong mechanical aptitude with fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems (highly desirable)
Ability to liaise professionally with clients regarding service needs
Reliable work ethic with the ability to work both independently and in a team
Flexibility to travel occasionally for work away from home
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
High level of computer literacy
Current driver's licence
Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of CNC machine technology
Hands-on CNC operation experience
Background in the Stone, Manufacturing, or Service industries
Electrical knowledge and understanding of PLC/logic-controlled devices
