Located in Wynnum,Nazareth Care is a fully accredited, not-for-profit organisation and home to 110 residents. Nazareth House provides excellence in person centred and clinical care, with respect and compassion for all - Aged Care from the heart.

We are currently seeking an experienced, hands on Maintenance (Support Services) Coordinatorto join our friendly team on a Full Timebasis. Your passion and professionalism will be instrumental in enhancing the care and wellbeing of our residents.

What you will be doing:

  • Responding to a variety of maintenance requests; providing a high level of service
  • Identifying and implementing preventative maintenance programs
  • Leading a small team of maintenance officers, cleaning and laundry attendants
  • Collaborating with various teams, suppliers and managing external contractors
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work and repairs
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Using the computer system to log maintenance requests, staff rosters etc.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in leading a team and planning maintenance schedules
  • Handyperson, building maintenance or trade background
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of OH&S requirements
  • Good financial acumen and computer literacy
