Are you looking for the next step in your career? An exciting opportunity has opened up for a driven and motivated team member to join the D&D Technologies Sales team as a Customer Service Sales & Technical staff member based at Frenchs Forest, NSW.
D&D Technologies is a company dedicated to the design and manufacture of quality, state-of the-art gate latches, locks and hinges. We are the trusted name in innovative gate hardware, and our Australian-made products are sold and exported worldwide. Established in the late 1980s, D&D gained international recognition with its ground-breaking MagnaLatch magnetic child safety gate latch for swimming pool and other child safety gates, winning several prestigious design awards for our revolutionary design. Since then, D&D has expanded operations and continues to grow its product range, delivering innovative safety, privacy and security gate hardware solutions. In 2022, D&D Technologies was acquired by ASSA ABLOY.
In this role you represent a key member of D&D Technologies, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice, troubleshooting assistance, and product recommendations. Your role will also involve identifying sales opportunities, maintaining ISO compliance within sales and customer service, and supporting our broader sales and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries, offering tailored product recommendations and technical advice
Identify sales opportunities and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
Process and manage warranty claims, ensuring clear communication across teams
Conduct product training sessions for customers and internal sales teams
Maintain and update CRM systems (Epicor), including warranty processes and sales order entries
Ensure all sales and customer service activities comply with ISO standards
Assist with trade shows, product demonstrations, and trade display setups
Prepare weekly sales reports and monthly warranty summaries
What We're Looking For
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Mechanical aptitude and product installation knowledge
Highly organized with strong customer relationship skills
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, technical support, or sales
