We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a JJ's Assistant Administration Manager, you will support our depot operations in the Victoria region - based from our modern Dandenong office.
Reporting directly to the Administration Manager, you will support all aspects of the administrative functions for the Melbourne and Gippsland regions.
This is a very fast paced role that will support all departments including, but not limited to, Customer Service, Sales Administration, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Domestic Contracts and Operational Administration.
We are looking for someone with a high level of people leadership experience, as well as the ability to learn quickly, and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand. This includes having excellent problem solving and time management skills.
JJ's is an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
This position is a permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the strategic direction of all administration functions
- Regularly assess and audit the performance of the departments within the Administration function
- Effectively and efficiently assist in development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met
- Identify training needs for new and current staff and coordinate skill development initiatives
- KPI and customer focused with the ability to perform under pressure
- Build and leverage collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders
- Facilitate flow of information between sales, operations, and administration
- Other duties as requested
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in a similar role
- A desire to initiate and drive continuous improvement
- Strong leadership capabilities, well-developed people management skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to meet set deadlines
- Well-developed problem-solving and communication skills
- A commitment to achieving customer service of the highest standard
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team and autonomously
- Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, and commitment
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (desirable but not essential)
