C BAR has under undergone a major renovation. A brand new C BAR restaurant is now open, becoming one of the city's landmarks. At C BAR, we pride ourselves on providing professional customer service as well as an exceptional dining experience and we are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to join our experienced kitchen team. Operating 7 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the C BAR menu reflects the contemporary nature of Townsville's dining scene and utilizes fresh, local and premium produce from around Australia and abroad. The existing brigade are highly motivated and experienced.
The ideal candidate will have Australian trade or equivalent qualifications and will have previous experience of a small to medium sized, fast paced kitchen. Reporting to the Head Chef, the ideal candidate would have an understanding of, ordering, stock control, OH&S, environmental health, communication, and quality assurance, but more importantly, the successful person will enjoy cooking, and being part of an energetic and passionate group of people who enjoy the hospitality industry.
This position offers the right person long term employment prospects and the opportunity to further develop their skills as they work closely with the group's team of chefs.
