About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and organised Sales Administrator (12 Month Maternity Cover) to join our Melbourne team.

In this role, you'll support the full customer journey for our Home coffee machine range, from online to in-store experience. You'll combine your love of coffee with your strength in administration, customer service, and coordination to deliver an exceptional La Marzocco experience every time.

This position blends customer experience, sales administration, and showroom operations, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the complete Home customer journey, both online and in our Melbourne showroom, ensuring a seamless and premium experience.
  • Handle enquiries, process orders, manage banking, and maintain accurate records
  • Oversee inventory, coordinate deliveries, and update website stock to ensure smooth operations
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide expert support to walk-in customers in our retail showroom.
  • Run engaging training sessions, and support home community events.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve processes, share insights, and enhance the La Marzocco brand experience

About You

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in sales, sales administration and customer service.
  • Basic to Intermediate level proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales tools such as SAP or Salesforce is essential (or something similar)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • 2+ years' experience in coffee, hospitality or related industries
  • Experienced barista or genuine passion for specialty coffee
  • Confident presenting and engaging with customers
  • Experience delivering training or demonstrations is highly regarded

This role is Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm onsite in our Melbourne head office and showroom. Flexibility is required for events at night and occasional weekend events.
