As part of our growth plans, we recently opened a 3,000 M2 iconic store in Sydney CBD with a presence like no other in Australia. We are looking for an Inventory Assistant to join our Merchandise Buying team, based in our beautiful Collins St Office. **ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role will see you provide support to the Inventory Analysts and Category Managers in all Inventory related activities.

Your key accountabilities will include but are not limited to:

- Create and manage Bill of Ladings for purchase orders
- Send purchase orders to suppliers
- Monitor purchase order status
- Maintain and update purchase order register
- Follow up invoices and CP information
- Generate reports and assist the Inventory Analysts with analysis
- Action transfers in stock management system
- Liaise with category team to manage and maintain inventory metrics including pack size, shelf caps, and min/max

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful you will ideally have:

- Previous administrative experience in a Merchandise / Inventory environment
- Knowledge/experience of retail operations
- High level of numeracy skills
- Very high level of attention to detail
- High level of data entry skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills(excluding Access)
- Demonstrable ability to manage various competing priorities and the ability to assess and resolve problems
- A sense of urgency and the ability to translate this into effective organisational practices and time management including prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
