We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager in Sydney to lead the end-to-end bid process for large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.

This role will be responsible for managing tender submissions, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering competitive, high-quality bids that support successful project wins.

The Bid Manager will work closely with commercial, contracts, and engineering teams to ensure all bids meet client requirements and align with organisational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity identification to submission.
  • Develop bid strategies, timelines, and resourcing plans to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality submissions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, commercial, contracts, and project management to produce compliant and compelling bids.
  • Review tender documentation, interpret requirements, and ensure submissions address all client needs.
  • Prepare cost and commercial proposals, including risk assessments and pricing inputs.
  • Support post-tender clarifications, presentations, and negotiations as required.
  • Maintain bid records, lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Bid Manager within a large-scale infrastructure environment.
  • Strong understanding of tender and bid processes, commercial and contractual principles.
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while ensuring high quality and compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related discipline (preferred but not essential).
