Job details
We're looking for an innovative, and solutions-focused team member to take on the role of Operations and Engagement Lead at the new Wangaratta Tech School, opening in June 2026.
This exciting position will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Tech School, supporting the delivery of dynamic STEM programs for local secondary students. Working closely with the Director and Head of Programs, you'll manage operational systems, facilities, and digital platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for students, teachers, and industry partners.
The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting education, technology, and innovation in regional Victoria.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Strong organisational and operational management skills, with experience coordinating facilities, systems, or events.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities, with the capacity to build positive relationships across schools, industry, and community partners.
- A sound understanding of compliance, reporting, and digital asset management.
- A proactive, adaptable, and curious mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
- A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
- A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
- A current Driver's Licence (Car).
The salary range for this position is $95,154-$104,808 under the GOTAFE Enterprise PACCT Agreement 2023.
