Clark Masts is a leader in the manufacture of pneumatic telescopic masts for use in applications such as defence, mining, communications, and emergency services sectors. Our products are used to elevate antennas, lighting, environmental monitoring and data capture, photography, and surveillance equipment.

Our growing Asia Pacific business is made up of a small, dynamic team, and the work environment is relaxed and friendly, with a focus on supporting our team's needs, to excel at achieving the right results for our customers. While skill set/experience of the successful applicant is important, significant consideration will be given to personality, attitude and work ethic.

Main points:

· Based in Carrum Downs, Victoria

· Normal business hours Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

· Choice of fixed 12-month full-time or part time contract with goal to transition to ongoing permanent, or casual ongoing position.

For casual positions, we are a highly flexible workplace in days that can be worked in an ordinary week, and this can be changed month to month to suit external commitments. As such, this position would suit university students.

Key duties and responsibilities for this position are:

· Assembly of mast systems and accessories

· Packing and despatch of customer orders

· Receiving and inspection of incoming goods

· Work to written production procedures

· Assist in all day-to-day production operations as required

· Forklift operation (existing licence desired but not essential)

· Make pickups from local suppliers as required

Training on the processes you will be required to undertake will be given as required, and all quality processes are documented for convenience.

Additional duties (depending on experience and aptitude) may come to include:

· MIG welding

· CNC Lathe operation

· 3D CAD drafting

· Internal sales/support

Desired attributes:

· Previous manufacturing industry experience, or mechanical/engineering aptitude

· High attention to detail

· Strong communication, reading, listening and retention skills

· A strong work ethic where all members of the team support each other

· The ability to work unsupervised while following documented procedures

· Must hold a minimum of a Provisional Australian driver's licence

· Be able to legally work in Australia

The salary package will be determined based on the experience of the successful applicant, but the salary range offered will be $50,000 - $60,000 based on a full-time role.
