Storeperson - Forlift Operator

The Opportunity:

Are you a reliable and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for warehouse operations? We're seeking a Store Person – Forklift Operator to join our team at Carrum Downs. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly, from loading and unloading trucks to preparing shipments and maintaining safety standards.

• 1 x Morning Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:06 PM

What you'll be doing:

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.

Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.

Read and follow picking lists and loading sheets to ensure accurate shipments.

Forward plan loads for the next day's transport.

Move materials to the correct departments and put away components in the proper storage locations.

Wrap and label pallets appropriately for transport.

Use forklift paperwork to manage stock in quarantine areas and report any issues.

Collaborate with team members and assist other departments as needed.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding stock, shipments, and operational concerns.

Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in warehouse processes.

What We're Looking For?

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.

Valid forklift licence

Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Proactive approach to safety and operational efficiency.
