Aluminium Façade Systems is a national leading supplier of innovative façade cladding solutions, dedicated to delivering high quality and aesthetically pleasing exterior building materials.

We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced BDM to join our dynamic team.

About The Role...

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced BDM with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the façade cladding industry.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of working for a façade material supply business, managing façade material supply projects to installers, fabricators, and builders as well as building and managing relationships with these customers and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Manage cladding supply projects, ensuring they meet customer specifications for qty, size, colour, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor supply progress, identify potential shortfalls, and implement effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with fabricators, facade engineers, Installers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project supply execution.
  • Tasked with formulating quotes and invoices, and when required, meticulous measurements of facade dimensions, and strategic procurement of necessary materials for each project.
  • Providing well-experienced advice and solutions for the customer, during the quotation process.
  • Managing warehouse stock requirements and inventory control.
  • Ensuring our internal quality management plan is adhered to.
  • Regular call cycles with installers, fabricators and builders in (Melbourne) with the view to providing quotations for new façade supply projects.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Establish and build strong relationships, partnerships, and collaborations between business customers.
  • Working towards achieving annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and present regular project supply updates and reports to management.
  • Managing internal and external resources as required.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement in company processes and procedures.
  • Enjoy being part of an exciting young team, working together and helping each other out.
  • Ability to problem solve and take ownership of all supply project's and develop new business with existing and new installers and fabricators.

About You...

You will have:

  • Technical understanding of façade cladding systems and materials.
  • Trade or Degree Qualified.
  • BDM experience working for façade, aluminium cladding supplier.
  • Must be organised, have good documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers, teams, and suppliers.
  • Enjoy collaborating with teams and sharing knowledge.
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously and have exceptional time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and being able to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of relative Australian Standards and knowledge of design and specification would be an advantage
