Network System Administrator - Jewish Care Victoria

This permanent fulltime position is based at our Melbourne office, with occasional travel to other sites as required.

About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Network System Administrator to manage and optimise our IT systems. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your technical expertise directly contributes to our mission of caring for community members across all stages of life.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and server systems
  • Implement security protocols and ensure data protection compliance
  • Provide technical support to staff across multiple locations
  • Manage system backups, updates, and performance optimisation
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders on IT projects
  • Document processes and maintain accurate system records

What We're Looking For

  • Relevant qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and network protocols
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies and cloud platforms
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Experience in healthcare or not-for-profit sectors preferred but not essential
