Alkemist cafe is on the lookout for the next team member to join our team

We are open Monday to Sunday, with hours between 6am - 2.30pm. We are a 90 seater cafe, with a strong loyal customer base.

We are looking for:

  • Someone with a passion for food and working in a fast paced cafe, in a small team environment.
  • A team player, that enjoys the variety of cafe style sections; working on both prep and short order cooking.
  • A strong understanding of ordering, stock control, cleaning procedures.
  • A friendly and calm temperament, with an ability to work under pressure alongside team members.
  • The skill set to run the kitchen when the head chef is off.
  • Experience in a similar cafe role.
  • Must be available on weekends.
