About the Opportunity
As part of the Strategic Property & Commercial Program, the Customer Service Representative, Golf Links plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who visits or contacts the North Adelaide Golf Course.
In this role, the Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly and timely support across membership sales and renewals, multi-visit passes, merchandise, and course bookings. The role also supports the daily operations of the Pro Shop and Par 3, helping to keep everything running smoothly while upholding Council's Customer Service Standards.
From assisting with enquiries and processing memberships to managing direct debits, handling cash, and keeping the shop well-presented, this position is all about ensuring customers enjoy a positive experience. At times, the role may also involve resolving more challenging situations, always with professionalism and care.
Working closely with the Golf Links team, the Customer Service Representative contributes to a collaborative, customer-focused environment and maintains up-to-date product knowledge to provide accurate advice and support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering high-quality service, and thrives on interacting with people in a community-focused setting.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in providing excellent customer service in a service-oriented workplace.
- Demonstrated verbal communication skills with the ability to manage challenging customers and situations tactfully and sensitively.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Hold or have the ability to obtain a Responsible Person Badge
- Class C drivers license
- Experience in cash handling and sound numeracy skills.
