Brandi Co is a full servicing accounting firm, seeking an experienced and talented accountant to join our rapidly expanding team.  Brandi Co is a boutique accounting firm with over 20 years of experience, assisting clients with their Accounting and Taxation needs Nationwide. We are dedicated to assisting Clients as well as growing our staff to achieve their full potential.

Position Description:

The position offered is for an Senior Accountant for our Abbotsford Office.

Job Profile:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Taxation Returns for :
  • Individuals/Sole Traders
  • Companies
  • Trusts
  • Partnerships
  • SMSFs
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statement (BAS)
  • Assistance with preparing taxation and structure advice
  • Liaising with clients and key stakeholders
  • Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero
  • Responding to any queries, escalating where necessary to ensure a timely and accurate response
  • Supporting senior team members with the preparation of client lodgment obligations and insightful management information
  • Ensuring our clients have an exceptional experience in every interaction

About the role

The Successful candidate will be an accountant looking to assist and help business owners achieve their desired goals, whilst working in an established andexpanding accounting firm with a great Culture. We are searching for an ambitious accountant with a long term view to help grow join a modern and successful firm which embraces its team and clients alike.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a public practice firm
  • Ability to prepare financial statements and tax returns end to end
  • Ability to have moderate level of technical knowledge and be able to communicate this simply with clients (Div7a, GST, Tax)
  • Experience using Xero.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills and Communication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of Team

Remuneration

The successful will be remunerated with a competitive Salary Package based on qualification and experience
