EH Tax Accountants is well known an accounting firm with offices across Melbourne. We are now seeking a talented senior tax accountant to join our motivated and dedicated team. We are seeking someone with high accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to interact in a friendly and professional manner with our clients.
This is a full-time role that will be based in Officer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing tax returns, financial statements, and BAS statements for individuals, companies and fund management accounts.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients by keeping in regular contact.
- Creating and returning statements and documents to clients by set deadlines.
- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other regulatory bodies when required.
- Assisting our financial planners with any tax queries.
To be successful in this exciting role, you will:
- Have over 5 years' experience working in public accounting firm, within the business services arm;
- Have experience in the preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals;
- Have a solid understanding of tax laws and keep up to date with changes / precedents;
- With have an accounting degree recognised in Australia;
