About the Role:
We are seeking a mid-level Business Analyst to act as a solution analyst, gathering requirements for various projects and providing ongoing support to ensure successful delivery. This role will involve collaborating with multiple teams, documenting requirements, and assisting with testing and reporting.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Gather and understand technical requirements through workshops and meetings with impacted Telstra groups.
  • Document requirements clearly and ensure completeness and traceability.
  • Develop user stories with testable acceptance criteria for Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Assist with testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Understand solution architecture to ensure delivered solutions perform as expected.
  • Identify, resolve, or escalate issues threatening project delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations effectively.
  • Document business processes, develop internal documentation, and generate reports.

Core Capabilities / Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in Agile delivery and user story writing.
  • Knowledge of microservice-based architectures and related development practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to facilitate workshops.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including data analysis.
  • Time management skills to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and incorporate feedback.
  • Strategic thinking in technology solution development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across diverse groups.

Advantageous:

  • Background in Lawful Intercept technologies.
  • Awareness of standardisation bodies such as ETSI and 3GPP.
