About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Handyperson to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for general maintenance and minor repairs across various Lumina properties, ensuring that all suites and facilities are kept in excellent working condition. This is a mobile role requiring travel between sites, all conveniently located within the Melbourne CBD.

Key Responsibilities

-Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks (e.g. painting, carpentry, and other minor repairs)

-Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

-Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve issues

-Assist in preparing suites for guest arrivals, ensuring high standards of presentation

-Prepare weekly maintenance reports

-Maintain tools, equipment and supplies in good order

-Adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures

About You

-Proven experience in a general maintenance or handyperson role

-Sound knowledge of building services and general repairs

-Excellent time management and organisational skills

-Ability to work independently and travel between CBD sites

-Strong communication and problem-solving skills

-Ability to travel between buildings in the CBD (on-foot, public transport or using company provided e-Scooter)
