About the role

We are seeking an experienced, practical, reliable Handyman Maintenance Worker to join our team. This is a subcontractor full-time position where you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and handyperson services to our residential and commercial clients. The work is varied – from fixing door handles and fences to patching walls and treating mould – so we need someone who's hands-on, uses common sense, and can work without needing to be micromanaged.

What you'll be doing:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and implement appropriate solutions
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work completed


•    General repairs (e.g. fixing door handles, reattaching anchors, repairing fences)


•    Patching up minor wall damage


•    Small carpentry jobs


•    Replacing fixtures and fittings


•    Spot checks and basic maintenance across properties

What we're looking for

  • Several years of experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
  • Strong practical skills and knowledge across a range of trades, including carpentry and general handyman work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • Own tools
