My GP North Lakes is a mixed‑billing general practice committed to providing comprehensive, patient‑centred care to families in the North Lakes community. We offer a broad range of services including women's health, men's health, children's health, preventive health checks, minor procedures, mental health care, chronic disease management, allied health, and more.

As Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients—on the phone and face to face. You will ensure a smooth, welcoming, and efficient customer service experience. You'll coordinate appointments, manage patient flow, handle administrative tasks, and assist in maintaining a professional and caring environment.

Skills & Attributes

  • Previous experience in a medical reception preferred
  • Proficient in practice management software (Best practice)
  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Medical Administration, or equivalent is desirable
  • Ability to show empathy, patience, and professionalism under pressure
  • Sound knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
  • Team player with a positive, proactive attitude

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
