About Us

We are a small accounting and financial planning business located on the sunshine coast looking to grow. We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Accounting and Financial Planning team. If you thrive in a self led role, understand accounting and financial planning software, love numbers, and enjoy keeping things organized, this could be the perfect role for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and financial planning team
  • Assist with the preparation and tracking of tax returns
  • Assist with the preparation of financial planning reports
  • Assist with client emails and paperwork to support a wide range of tasks both in accounting and financial planning
  • Schedule meetings, keep track of workflows and ensure the day to day operations run efficiently
  • Communicate with clients, and internal team regarding financial documents and deadlines
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial data

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in finance or accounting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus specifically "Access Accountant", "BGL 360" & "Midwinter".
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High level of discretion when dealing with sensitive financial information
  • Based on the Sunshine Coast, preferably the northern end
