About the Role

As Financial Accountant, you will:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting across multiple business units
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, systems, and reporting processes
  • Partner with manufacturing and retail teams to analyse cost of goods, inventory, and margin performance
  • Manage compliance requirements including BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and statutory reporting
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and key stakeholders

About You

You're hands-on, detail-oriented, and commercially minded — equally comfortable with the numbers and the story they tell.

You will likely bring:

  • Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion
  • Solid experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or retail environments (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of inventory, cost accounting, and management reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and analytical capability
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership
