Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation (AAC) is looking for a motivated and compassionate Employment Pathways Advisor (EPA) to join our team.

About the Role

As an EPA, you will be at the frontline, working directly with job seekers to assess their skills, interests, and goals—and supporting them every step of the way toward sustainable employment. You'll collaborate with employers, training providers, and community services to create tailored pathways that open real opportunities for meaningful work.

This role is full-time and based in Roebourne. Please note, housing is not provided, so we are seeking applicants who already live in Roebourne / Karratha districts.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct one-on-one assessments with job seekers to develop personalised employment plans
  • Provide advice, coaching, and support on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview skills
  • Link clients with training programs, work experience, and employment opportunities
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers to identify job vacancies
  • Maintain accurate records to monitor client progress and outcomes
What We're Looking For
  • Passion for supporting job seekers from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, and those facing disadvantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Organised, with good administrative and record-keeping skills
  • Knowledge of the local employment market and community services (preferred but not essential)
