About Us
Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation (AAC) is a not-for-profit Aboriginal organisation providing direct services to enable Aboriginal people to participate in employment and economic opportunities. With a presence in Perth and across the Pilbara region, our Head Office is based in Tom Price, WA. Our mission is to establish and maintain an environment that benefits people through the creation of culturally appropriate employment and enterprise opportunities, and the provision of education and training services throughout the Pilbara. Our footprint extends across much of the vast Pilbara region, and we have been successfully supporting the development of opportunities for Aboriginal people in the region for many years.

As a member of our Employment Services team, you will play a vital front-line role in supporting job seekers to become work-ready and connect with suitable, sustainable employment opportunities. These roles are exciting, challenging, and deeply rewarding, offering the chance to make a tangible difference in people's lives every day.

To succeed in these roles, you'll need strong communication skills, a genuine passion for helping others, and solid administrative capabilities to manage client interactions and case records effectively.

As a Job Skills Officer, you will work directly with job seekers to strengthen their employability and prepare them for the workforce. Your role will focus on delivering practical job-readiness activities, facilitating workshops, and providing hands-on support to help clients overcome barriers to employment.
This is a rewarding and front-line role, ideal for someone with strong people skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine passion for empowering others.
Mentor
As a Mentor, you'll play a critical role in empowering individuals—particularly Aboriginal job seekers—by offering guidance, encouragement, and culturally respectful support.
