We have an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Professional to join our Business Advisory team in our Chinchilla office.

What will your typical week look like?

Our Family Office approach allows for a more personalised and collaborative relationship with clients, offering greater exposure and client contact.

  • Prepare business activity statements, financial statements, reconciliations, and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individual businesses
  • Deliver high-quality accounting services across a diverse client base
  • Assist with bookkeeping and client record keeping
  • Liaise with the ATO, other government bodies, providers, and statutory authorities on client matters
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Ensure work is delivered efficiently on time, and within budget

Let's talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Previous business advisory experience (preferred but not essential for entry-level roles)
  • Completed or working towards a relevant qualification (degree, diploma, CA/CPA) — or bring relevant bookkeeping experience or a strong interest in the field
  • Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in understanding client needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud accounting products like Xero or MYOB
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable managing your digital identity in line with relevant legislation
  • A team player with a positive and proactive mindset
