Leasing Consultant

About Us:

BME Group, a leading real estate firm based in Sydney, and Wentworth Point, is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our boutique Real Estate office in the heart of Sydney CBD. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties and are dedicated to delivering outstanding experiences to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with our property managers in a positive and open environment to provide world-class service to our landlords and connect tenants with their ideal rental properties.

The Role:

  • Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, and web.
  • Create and maintain a database of prospective tenants.
  • Organize photography and copy for all rental properties according to our agency standards.
  • Advertise and market properties for lease.
  • Conduct open and private inspections.
  • Report on inspections and application progress to Property Managers.
  • Process tenancy application forms and complete reference checks in a timely manner.
  • Prepare lease sign-ups, bond lodgement, and move-in documentation.
  • Conduct condition reports and routine inspections.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative duties.
  • Assist with property management duties as needed.

The Candidate:

  • Real Estate Certificate, car, and driver's license.
  • Background in Property Management/Customer Service.
  • Good understanding of the real estate market is desirable.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional people skills and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail, thorough, and takes pride in their work.
