Retail Leasing Executive – NSW

Region Group, a leading listed REIT, invites you to seize this exciting opportunity to become a Leasing Executive and drive strategic leasing outcomes across a diverse portfolio of shopping centres, including vital regional assets.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Retail Leasing Executive to join our Sydney-based team. This pivotal role offers the chance to work across a varied portfolio within a robust listed REIT environment, where your expertise will directly contribute to our purpose of "supporting better communities through life's essentials.

As a key member of the Leasing team, you will play an important role in maximising rental income, driving sustainable growth, and shaping the future success of our centres. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver leasing outcomes aligned with our Purpose, Vision, Strategy, and Values.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will be a blend of strategic planning, keen negotiation, and impactful relationship building. You will:

  • Develop and implement leasing strategies to optimise rental income and occupancy across the portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retailers, agents, and stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform leasing decisions
  • Prepare & Negotiate lease proposals, renewals, and documentation in line with company policies
  • Collaborate with key stakeholder teams to achieve tenancy outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Apply strong financial acumen and due diligence to budgets, forecasts, and reporting
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture built on Innovation, Trust, Leadership, and One Team values
  • Ensure compliance with relevant retail legislation and industry best practice
