About the Role
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking a dedicated and organised Professional Standards Administration Officer to join the Transperth Train Operations team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Manager Professional Standards & Integrity, this role provides essential administrative and investigative support to ensure professional standards, integrity, and compliance are upheld across the division.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support including diary coordination, meeting preparation, and document management.
- Assist with investigations by compiling evidence, preparing reports, and supporting interviews and court-related activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with PTA policies, including compliance and audit documentation.
- Coordinate internal action registers and follow up on outstanding tasks to support workflow efficiency.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support process improvements and respond to customer feedback.
About You
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Demonstrated experience in administrative, compliance or office support roles with an investigative element.
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- The ability to problem solve and conduct research, compile documents and data to assist with investigations.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn or use systems within the ambit of this position including Microsoft Office.

There is
one
permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. This is a pool recruitment process and applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
To be eligible to work permanently at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen, have Permanent Residency status or hold a current visa with permanent working rights in Australia.
