Job Description

Epworth Healthcare is looking for a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the establishment and running of the new Epworth Doctor Supported Practice (EDSP) based at Epworth Richmond.

The 12-month fixed term position will be critical in supporting our newly returned medical doctors from fellowship and new doctors who are wanting to establish their private practice pathway at Epworth.

In this role you will work closely with a number of surgeons and physicians to provide comprehensive day to day operations and support to grow their practice, while ensuring seamless processes within the practice to promote exceptional patient experience.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Practice manager experience
  • Preparing and organising theatre lists
  • General administrate tasks
  • Manage all billing processes including health fund gaps and Eclipse
  • Support to grow their referral base

Position Description Inherent Requirements

Qualifications

You will bring;

  • 3+ years experience as a medical secretary within the elective surgical space
  • Demonstrated commitment to outstanding patient care
  • Proficiency in using Practice Manager software
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Exceptional organisation skills and accuracy
