About the role

Nexar Group is looking for an exceptional Finance & Payroll Officer (Part Time - 3/4 days a week) to join our organisation and support our management team, clients, field officers and national footprint.

The successful candidate would ideally have demonstrated experience in a similar role.

Reporting to the CFO, you will assist with the delivery of Financial and Administration functions.

Some of the position requirements are as follows:

  • Onboarding of staff
  • Preparation of payroll
  • Processing of superannuation, payroll tax, worker's compensation, etc
  • Processing and payment of accounts payable and receivables
  • Coordination of Accounts Email inbox
  • Booking travel requirements
  • Assist with ad hoc payroll-related tasks and responding to payroll inquiries from employees and external parties
  • Undertake all administrative tasks related to the business
  • Resolve payroll queries and data entries in a timely manner as they arise.
  • Providing support to the CFO & CEO

Please be aware this is a customer focused role and requires the selected candidates to have high levels of communication with a friendly manner.

  • 2+ years experience in Accounts Officer role
  • 2 years experience with Xero or equivalent accounting software
  • Professional, dedicated and efficient work ethic
  • Microsoft office skills with excel skills highly regarded
  • Administration office experience
  • High level of numeracy and accuracy skills
