At Bursaria Early Learning Centre, we see food as more than fuel, it's part of belonging, culture, and care. We are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our beautiful, new centre in Keilor, preparing wholesome, child-friendly meals for children aged 0–6 years.

Your Role

You'll take pride in providing healthy, balanced and allergy-aware meals each day, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. You'll also collaborate with educators to involve children in cooking experiences and help embed sustainable practices across the centre.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks for all age groups.

· Maintain food safety documentation (temperature logs, cleaning checklists, allergen matrix).

· Ensure kitchen hygiene, safe storage, and waste reduction practices.

· Communicate with families about special dietary needs and cultural preferences.

· Support the service philosophy of sustainability and inclusion.

About You

· Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).

· Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain).

· Experience in Early Learning, hospitality or catering settings.

· Sound understanding of allergy management.

· Current Working with Children Check (Employee).

· Enthusiastic, organised and a genuine team player
