Diploma/Cert III or Trainee Early Childhood Educator

Thornbury Learning Centre is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic early childhood professionals for their 70 place family owned service. The service has been operating for over 25 years and is well established in the local community.

We are looking to employ people with a passion for working with children and welcome Diploma / Certificate 111 or Trainees to apply. Whilst we will be able to offer a permanent position for the right applicant we would also like to increase our casual list of employees to cover staff absences.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Have a strong commitment to and place value on partnerships with families and their children.
  • Be able to demonstrate professional, respectful and ethical relationships and practices.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills & the ability to provide feedback to families and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative in day to day work and in solving problems.
  • Dedication and be passionate for early learning education and working with children of all ages.
  • Great initiative and the ability to work well as a team
  • Promote supportive working environment in which team relationships can function effectively
