We're growing fast, and as we scale, one thing matters above all: clinical excellence. That's where you come in.
About The Role
As Head of Clinical Services, you'll lead the uplift and evolution of our clinical operations, ensuring every patient interaction is safe, compliant, and scalable.
You'll build on our governance and compliance foundations to create proactive, streamlined systems that keep us trusted by regulators, valued by clinicians, and safe for patients — all while supporting sustainable commercial growth.
This role is not just about governance. It's about embedding clinical integrity into product, commercial, and operational design, striking the right balance between safety and scale. You'll lead Training, Compliance & Quality, Risk & Governance, and Nursing, with oversight of Medical Directors. Critically, you'll partner closely with our Founders, stepping into areas they've historically led, and building confidence that Fresh's clinical operations are managed with rigour, safety, and scalability.
What you'll be doing
- Strengthen today, scale for tomorrow — set direction and drive accountability, addressing immediate operational priorities while evolving systems and workflows that support proactive health services at scale.
- Clinical Service Delivery - Oversee day-to-day execution across all programs, translating clinical standards into efficient, repeatable operations.
- Risk & Compliance - oversee the evolution of governance frameworks, build trusted regulator relationships (AHPRA, TGA, state health), and oversee the team that manages audits, incident management, and accreditation
- Onboarding & Training - guide the Training team to design and deliver programs that shorten ramp time, strengthen compliance, and equip clinicians to thrive from day one.
- Workforce Management - Oversee workforce planning and scheduling, ensuring optimal coverage, Medical Director utilisation , and service quality.
- Systems & Data - Direct the development and assist in the building of scalable workflows and automation, ensuring clinical data is accurate, reliable, and actionable.
- Operational Governance - Drive reporting rhythms and KPIs that create clarity, accountability, and disciplined execution across the Clinical Organisation.
What makes you a great fit
- Leadership of leaders - you've scaled clinical or operational teams in complex, regulated, or health-tech environments.
- Clinical & commercial acumen - you balance patient safety with scalable, sustainable business models.
- Risk & compliance expertise - credible with regulators, proactive in anticipating and mitigating risks.
- Systems thinker - you design processes that connect across departments and scale with growth.
- Calm in complexity - you bring clarity to ambiguous, high-pressure situations.
- Preferred - Proven experience building credibility with regulators (e.g. AHPRA, TGA, State Health), and/or AHPRA registration , or postgraduate qualifications in governance or health management.
- Mandatory - A track record in high-growth, regulated environments (ideally healthcare), experience scaling teams, and strong regulator engagement.
What you'll achieve in your first 6 months
- Be the face of Clinical with regulators: establish trusted relationships with AHPRA, TGA, and State Health.
- Strengthen governance foundations: close out existing regulator matters while evolving systems to prevent recurrence..
- Optimise workforce coverage: take ownership of scheduling and Medical Director planning.
- Drive operational rhythm: introduce reporting and cadences that keep the team aligned and accountable.
- Shift Clinical from reactive → proactive: embedding compliance and governance into Fresh's products and services across our new and emerging proactive health domains.
