About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, engaging Female Disability Support Worker to support an extraordinary client living with complex challenges.
You'll be part of a strong team that assists with daily living, personal care, therapy programs, and meaningful activities such as music, hydrotherapy, and community outings. Shifts are well balanced, with a rotating 9-day fortnight and active overnight shifts available once rapport and competence are established
What We Are Looking For
We want someone who brings both warmth and professionalism:
- Bubbly yet thoughtful, kind, respectful, and patient.
- Organised, neat, and confident in working as part of a team.
- Comfortable in emergency situations (full training provided).
- A confident swimmer with a full, clean driver's licence.
- Clear and confident communicator in English for client notes and team handovers
Essential Requirements
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Blue Card and Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening) or able to obtain one
- Fully COVID-19 vaccinated
- Licence and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work alternate weekends and flexible weekdays
- Non-smoking (including vaping) within the client's home
- Previous experience in disability support desirable, but full onboarding and training provided
