Summary

Are you an experienced disability support worker with a passion for client-centred care? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to provide dedicated support for a female participant with complex needs. Your experience in working with participants living with mental health challenges, and expertise in empathetic and individualised care will be crucial in making a positive impact on her well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Assist your client with daily living activities such as personal care and community access
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to your participant
  • Help your participant with mobility and transportation needs
  • Monitor health conditions
  • Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in disability support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to handle challenging behaviors and situations
  • Knowledge of disability rights and advocacy
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
