About the Role

This is a newly created position for a Project Accountant, reflecting the group's growth and strong project pipeline. You'll work across all three business divisions, supporting projects with annual revenues of approximately $150 million. These projects vary in scale, from smaller initiatives to major undertakings valued between $20-50 million, typically running six months or longer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate forecasts of project revenue, costs, and cashflows with BU and Project Managers.
  • Monitor and analyse actual project financial performance against forecasts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue and cost of sales.
  • Prepare and maintain project cashflow forecasts.
  • Produce accurate project financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Assist with NetSuite implementation and integration.
  • Maintain strong internal controls across financial reporting systems.
  • Support audits with reconciliations, analysis, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project FX management requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and tasks as directed by management.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in project accounting or project finance.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounting across projects.
  • CPA/CA qualification
    (or working towards).
  • Exposure to systems implementation will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
