Demand Controller

The Company
Inspired by Australia's great people and amazing foodie culture, Chobani USA purchased the Gippsland Dairy brand alongside Chobani, to form Chobani Australia in 2011. Flash forward 14 years and Chobani is Australia's #1 yogurt brand, living in the hearts (and tummies) of fans across the country.
At Chobani it's always been about more than yogurt. Access to delicious and nutritious food should be a right, not a privilege, Chobani's purpose as a leading food and drink manufacturer is to use their platforms, their resources and their influence to bridge that gap, to make a difference in the fight against food insecurity.
The Opportunity
At Chobani, to keep up with our growing and evolving business, we're excited to introduce a brand-new role for a Demand Controller to join the Planning team on a 12-month contract, based at our modern Dandenong South office, with access to a 3/2 hybrid working model.
This role is all about bringing clarity and control to the fast-paced 0–13 week tactical planning horizon, seamlessly complementing the embedded monthly IBP cycle. You'll enjoy translating demand signals into timely, aligned, cross-functional decisions that safeguard service, protect margins, and keep our yogurts on shelves where they belong.
It's a hands-on, highly visible role where you'll be connecting Sales, Supply, Planning, and Finance, ensuring we stay ahead of customer demand while reducing waste and elevating the way we execute plans. This isn't just about keeping things running smoothly today – it's also about shaping how Chobani builds future-ready collaboration processes that enhance customer engagement and deliver best-practice demand and supply performance.
Skills & Experience
Ideally to be successful in the role you will have:
• 3–5 years' experience in supply chain planning (demand or supply) in food or beverages or consumer goods
• Knowledge of ERP and planning systems, with solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI exposure a plus)
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to influence, collaborate, and build trust cross functionally
• High levels of proactivity, detail-orientation, and comfort operating in a fast-moving, at-times ambiguous environment
• Curiosity, initiative, and a knack for bringing people together to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
This is a rare chance to step into a newly created role and make a visible impact from day one. You'll be at the heart of critical decision-making, helping to reduce waste, strengthen customer alignment, and improve service in a business that's only getting more dynamic and complex, all whilst helping to shape a brand-new way of working at Chobani.
As the nerve centre of short-term planning, you'll have the opportunity to:
• Lead process improvements and help shape best practice.
• Build strong relationships across the business and with our customers.
• Deliver tangible results you can be proud of – from reducing write-offs to boosting service levels.
• Play a key role in preparing Chobani for the future as we gear up for enhanced planning systems and continued growth.
Benefits
At Chobani, social responsibility is in our DNA and that means you will be joining an organisation that is constantly seeking to make a difference for the community, people, and planet. Chobani offers excellent work life balance, free parking and yoghurt whilst onsite, a wellbeing program and a great rewards and recognition program.
