THE ROLE

This role is responsible for executing SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) strategies and actions plans to balance demand and supply, optimize inventory, align operations with financial goals, and support executive decision-making Together with Regional functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organization's objectives. In addition, this role would have to liaise with multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

The responsibilities of the role are to implement the required action plan, manage key activities like demand-supply alignment, inventory oversight, scenario planning and executive decision support activities to support efforts to achieve performance outcomes such improved forecast accuracy (accuracy of forecast vs actual), inventory turns (how efficiently inventory is used), OTIF (service performance for customer delivery), plan adherence (execution against agreed demand/supply plan), reduced variance in actual vs target inventory levels, and decision closure rate (resolution rate of issues presented in the SIOP process). The role shall carry out tactical activities to simulate demand and supply scenarios, track key metrics/KPIs, and maintain the SIOP calendar and data refresh cycle to improve forecast accuracy, reduce inventory risk, and enhance cross-functional execution efficiency. In addition, it is to support key tasks, including building dashboards and reporting (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP IBP), assumption documentation, and executive SIOP preparation aligned with Global vision and aspirations.

The SIOP Planner's specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)

  • Align cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations) to drive consensus on demand and supply plans.

  • Document planning assumptions and facilitate trade-off discussions with executive leadership.

  • Support internal customers by ensuring timely, clear visibility on risks, opportunities, and decisions.

Accountability #2: Process / Performance

  • Lead monthly SIOP cadence, including demand and supply reviews, KPI reporting, and executive presentations.

  • Consolidate demand, supply, and inventory plans across countries or business units and reconcile operational plans with financial targets."

  • Track and report key metrics such as forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory turns, and plan adherence.

Accountability #3: People

  • Maintain the SIOP calendar and data refresh cycle to ensure timely and accurate planning.

  • Facilitate demand and supply review meetings by preparing and distributing updated data packs and scenario analyses.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable smooth information flow and coordinated decision-making.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

This person must have: -

· Minimum 5 years, proven track record in overall sales, inventory & operations planning within a manufacturing/engineering environment

· Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
