Our client is a global leader and manufacturer of artificial turf and synthetic surfaces. We're looking for a Machine Operator with a Forklift licence to work for our client based in Dandenong South

About the role:

  • Day shift: Start 7am - Finish 3pm
  • Permanent full time position
  • On-site car park

Duties include but not limited:

  • Operating a variety of production machinery within the extrusion plant (including: Backing Line Oven, Tufting Machine, Knitting Machine, Rewinders, Auxiliary Machine & factory utilities).
  • Flag any Thread/machine faults and aid in repair.
  • Conduct thorough quality control actions
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Uphold company SOP's and OH&S practices

To be considered for this role:

  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have good attitude and desire to learn.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Forklift licence is highly regarded (or willingness to obtain)
  • High attention to detail.
  • Capable of completing the physical demands of the role: Instances of prolonged standing, bending, lifting (up to 20kgs), kneeling, & good eye coordination
  • Must have your own car and licence
  • Available to start immediately
