About the Role
De Bruyn's Transport, a proud TruckSafe Accredited Tasmanian business, is seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Operator to join our Devonport team.
In this full-time role, you'll assist with daily yard operations, including the safe loading, unloading, and movement of freight. You'll play a key role in keeping our busy depot running smoothly while maintaining our commitment to safety and service excellence.
This position offers a stable, long-term career with opportunities to complete Nationally Accredited Training and gain a Heavy Vehicle Licence in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and handle freight safely and efficiently
Assist with vehicle loading and unloading
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
Support team operations and communicate effectively with drivers and office staff
Follow all company safety procedures and standards
What We're Looking For
Current Forklift Licence
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Punctual, reliable, and responsible
High levels of honesty and attention to detail
Team player with good communication skills
