The Warehouse Packing and Yard Operator is responsible for general labour in Essantis Animal Nutrition Mill including the packing of completed product to customer specifications, site cleaning and site yard duties.

Full-Time 5 days per week.

The Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Packing and Yard Operator include:


• The movement of grain within the site


• Maintaining the receival pits and yard in a clean condition to comply with relevant standards (including DAWR and SQF)


• Daily inspection of silos to ensure lids are secure


• Loading of bulk trucks (manually with JCB or directly from silo's). Unloading bulk trucks


• General preventative maintenance (including fault finding and fixing)


• Manually filling bulker bags


• Forklift operation


• Skiold system operation


• Adhering to safe work practices and OHS guidelines and regulations


• Cleaning duties as allocated by Management to ensure site hygiene is appropriately maintained

Essential

  • Current work rights in Australia
  • Experience in manufacturing, labouring, warehousing or similar environments.
  • Warehouse Packing and Yard Operator must be physically fit and able to work in dusty environments.

  • Needs to be pro-active and show initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft office.
  • A current driver's licence

Desirable

  • Forklift licence (training can be provided if required)
  • Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
