Neerabup Western Australia Wesbeam Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Wesbeam is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Log Yard Operator to join our team at our Neerabup location. For this full-time position, we are searching for someone available to work a fixed roster of 4 days on, 3 days off, 4 nights on, 3 days off. The 4 shifts where you are rostered on will be Monday - Thursday, which means you can enjoy a 3-day weekend - every weekend Our ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our log yard.

Your duties will include:

  • Operate a front-end loader to move logs within the log yard and feed them into the processing line.
  • Manage control room operations for sorting and splitting logs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the log yard area, including sweeping and general tidying of machines and the control room.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental practices.
  • Continued commitment to learning and development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Experience operating a front-end loader (Loader Ticket required).
  • High-risk work license (Forklift).
  • Australian working rights.
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
