Snowbiz | Ski & Snowboard Retail | Elizabeth Street | Part-Time or Full-Time

Snowbiz is looking for a reliable, mature and calm Store Manager to run the day-to-day operations at our Brisbane CBD store on Elizabeth Street.

We're a specialised ski & snowboard retailer — the role requires someone who has spent significant time on snow and understands gear, brands, and the sport.

If you love skiing or snowboarding (or both), you'll fit right in.

This role is perfect for someone confident leading a team, solid with customer service, and able to keep a retail environment running smoothly during our summer and winter peak seasons.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supervising staff + running the floor
  • Helping customers choose ski/snowboard gear
  • Managing daily operations (open/close, sales, customer care)
  • Keeping the store tidy, organised, and welcoming
  • Assisting with stock intake + seasonal deliveries
  • Maintaining a positive, steady team environment
  • Weekend availability during peak season (winter)

Who we're looking for:

  • Ski and/or snowboard experience is essential
  • (We don't train from scratch — you must know the sport + gear)
  • Retail or hospitality management experience
  • Someone dependable, organised, and self-motivated
  • Calm under pressure
  • Strong communicator
  • Mature, drama-free, reliable
  • Comfortable leading a small team
  • Long-term, steady availability
