Our opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join Honour Plaîs Early Learning in a high growth area as our second Area Manager to play a pivotal role providing operational leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to Centre Leadership Teams and educators. This role blends hands-on operational support with forward-looking leadership to ensure each centre delivers high-quality education, strong community engagement, and exemplary compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Compliance

  • Lead regular quality assurance reviews to ensure all NQF standards and regulations are met.
  • Support centres through the Assessment & Rating process and maintain compliance with all licensing and safety requirements.

Leadership & Culture

  • Coach and mentor Centre Managers and leadership teams, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Role model organisational values and uphold the highest professional standards.

Business Management

  • Drive occupancy and re-enrolment through strong community engagement.
  • Oversee rostering, payroll approvals, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable financial performance.

Family & Community Engagement

  • Strengthen centres' local connections and act as the escalation point for family concerns, ensuring clear, timely, and respectful resolutions.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage budgets, funding, and performance metrics across your region.
  • Lead operational and financial outcomes to achieve targets.

About You

  • Proven experience in a multi-site leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood educationand care regulations
  • Exceptional people leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop others
  • A results-driven mindset, balancing compliance, quality, and commercial outcomes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
