The Role
We have an opportunity for an accessory fitter / technician to join our team at our Woolloongabba workshop. You will report directly to our store manager and will be responsible for completing accessory fitments to customer vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out fitment of parts and accessories to customer vehicles to the highest quality standard in a timely manner.
- Follow instructions provided verbally or written on a job card to ensure work is carried out correctly and as requested.
- Ensuring no damage is caused to customer vehicles and property during fitment by utilising the correct equipment and following fitting instructions.
- Inform the store manager of any delays or issues with a job as soon as possible.
- Once a job is completed ensure all quality checks are done and the vehicle is clean ready for customer collection.
- Assist in all ways possible to achieve an efficient workshop operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by working in an orderly fashion including disposing of rubbish.
- Maintain your own toolbox with suitable tools for the role.
Experience/Qualifications
- Accessory fitting experience obtained in a workshop environment
- Minimum of 1-2 years of accessory fitting experience is required
- Auto electrical experience highly regarded
- High level of attention to detail
- Can work in a timely manner
- Australian work rights are required for this position
