About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Solutions Architect to join the technical services team and design technology solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices. This role is critical in shaping the technical direction of projects, ensuring scalable, secure, and innovative architecture across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and documentation of projects across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and data platforms.

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions that are robust, scalable, and cost-effective.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture standards and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

• Provide delivery and architectural oversight during implementation phases and ensure design integrity.

• Support governance processes and contribute to technology roadmaps.

• mentor other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect or solution design roles.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 3 switching, VLANs, Routing, Firewall Security, Wireless etc…

• Solid background with Wintel and virtualisation and enterprise storage solutions including but not limited to VMware and Hyper-V, enterprise backup solutions, data / image replication etc…

• Experience with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, implementations

• Familiarity with enterprise network, wireless, server and storage hardware platforms including but not limited to HPE, EMC/Dell, Cisco, Ruckus, Lenovo, Aruba etc…

• Excellent Microsoft platform expertise including but not limited to Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, hybrid on-premise and cloud / Azure based solutions.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and in relation to documentation.

• Data Integration capability preferred

• Capital works / construction project experience preferred

• Aged Care, Healthcare, Agriculture, Supply Chain experience preferred.

• Diligent administrative skills are mandatory.

• Mobile Device Management experience preferred

• Web technology experience preferred

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Certification in architecture or cloud technologies is highly desirable.
