Solutions Architect – Directory & Identity

Location: Brisbane CBD | Hybrid with flexible work

Duration: Initial 5 months + possible extension

This contract offers the opportunity to play a key role in a high-impact program focused on modernising digital, identity and workplace services for a large public-sector organisation.

You will shape architecture across both on-premises and cloud platforms, influence strategic technology uplift, and contribute to meaningful digital transformation for Queenslanders.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Solutions Architect – Directory & Identity, you will:

  • Lead architecture and solution design for directory, identity, tenant and application integration
  • Provide strategic expertise across Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, VMware private cloud and application dependencies
  • Develop architectural models for current, transition and target states
  • Ensure delivery aligns with approved design standards and architecture baselines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cohesive identity and workplace outcomes

About You

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Active Directory and identity architecture (enterprise or government)
  • Strong expertise across AD, Entra ID/Azure AD, forests, domains, trusts, GPO/OU design, PKI, ADFS and Entra Connect
  • Experience with tenant separations/mergers and cross-tenant collaboration projects
  • Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement capability
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly regarded (Identity, Azure, Solutions Architect, etc.)
