enior Solution Architect
Location: Brisbane QLD preferred, Open to candidates based in Melbourne VIC or Sydney NSW
Contract Duration: 6 weeks to begin, with possibility for extensions**
Join a leading consultancy delivering large-scale cloud transformation across enterprise environments. As a Senior Solution Architect, you'll play a key role in shaping cloud strategy, modernising legacy platforms, and designing scalable, cloud-native solutions that drive real business outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design and delivery of cloud and hybrid architectures across Azure and AWS.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to define cloud strategies and transformation roadmaps.
  • Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop migration approaches for complex enterprise systems.
  • Design reference architectures that balance scalability, resilience, and security.
  • Facilitate workshops to translate business goals into practical, cross-functional technical solutions.
  • Guide teams on cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices.
  • Stay across emerging technologies such as AI/ML, data engineering, and automation to inform solution design.

What you'll bring

  • Proven background as a Solution or Cloud Architect within enterprise-scale environments.
  • Experience leading cloud migration and transformation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS architecture frameworks and Well-Architected principles.
  • Hands-on experience with modern design patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless).
  • Understanding of modern data solutions such as Data Mesh, Lakehouse, Synapse, or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with API management, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and FinOps tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to present to senior leaders.

Certifications

  • MUST-HAVE:
    Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or equivalent.
  • Desirable:
    AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate).
  • Bonus: Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Data Engineer, or related advanced Azure certifications.
